Zodiac Clearwater salt chlorinators come in a number of sizes and models to suit every requirement. The C-series is simple and effective and while easy to clean does require regular maintenance. The LM series costs a little more but is entirely self cleaning.

C-Series
The C-series chlorinator is available in a number of size units. For most pools you need to produce the equivalent of one cup or approximately 200-250gm of chlorine per day. As most sand filters need 8 hours for adequate filtration, the C200 model is the most common, producing enough chlorine for an average size pool.

For periods of extreme weather or heavy bather loads a simple one click Super Chlorinate function will keep your pool sanitising simple. This is the next generation in self cleaning chlorinators with electrode technology that further reduces calcium buildup.

Duo Clear
The DuoClear combines the features of an LM3 Salt Chlorinator with a Nature2 ioniser cartridge providing you with a low chlorine solution for your swimming pool. This really is the best of both worlds. Having an in-built Nature2 ioniser cartridge means your pool can be kept with a constant chlorine residual level of only 0.5ppm.

No more algaecides - The DuoClear cartridge (using Nature 2 technology) contains trace amounts of silver and copper which act as a permanent algaecide in your swimming pool. As long as this cartridge is replaced as required you should never need to use algaecides again.
In simple, non-technical terms, the self cleaning salt chlorinator produces chlorine that controls/kills bacteria and algae and in doing so, reverts back to dissolved salt, while the copper inhibits algal growth and the silver assists in maintaining clarity and water balance.

Unit Warranty - The DuoClear vessel is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 3 years. The Nature 2 purifier cartridge is warranted against copper staining as long as copper-based algaecides are not used. The DuoClear unit (excluding cell) is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 2 years.
Electrode Warranty - Two electrode warranty options
are available: 1) Lifetime Warranty - The electrodes will be replaced free
of charge for the lifetime of the unit providing the Nature 2 cartridge is
replaced regularly every 6 months and cartridge purchase details are
retained or sent to zodiac. 2) Standard Warranty - The electrodes and
their special coatings are covered by a 1 year full warranty and a
subsequent 2 year additional warranty, pro-rated over the three years.
