Lookup Licencing
|
MICROSOFT Access Database Super Search Tool Lookup Licencing is new to version 7 of lookup and above and will be introduced to future versions of all Lookup applications. As Lookup had now matured into a stable commercial product I had to develop a licencing system to ensure the integrity of commercial complete versions of the software and free trial versions. To do this I developed Lookup Licencing. How does licencing work? When you order a Lookup licence an encrypted key file is generated in my licence generator and emailed to you. This file when installed in the Lookup directory will unlock Lookup. The new system allows for licenced machines to run just as smoothly and seamlessly as before without even noticing licencing. Unlicenced versions will now have access to the latest version of the application with disabled features and limited searches but without ads or nag screens. Licences will work on all releases for that product major
version which is twelve months as a minimum although currently there are no
plans to place restrictions in upcoming versions entitling licenced users to
ongoing upgrades. Lookup licencing will not be affected by hardware changes but
changing the name of the machine will disable the licence. A new unlimited licence is available for those who wish to use Lookup on multiple machines or off a removable drive and for over five machines this is much better value. This licence means you can install Lookup on your home computer, work computer and usb key or your entire small business network. These licences are registered by either user or business name. The unlimited licence does not allow you to install Lookup on other peoples computers but only on computers used or owned by you. Software registered to a business name can be installed on any business owned devices.
